Profit-making directors are deemed succesfull
Business corporations and public institutions are very crucial organs for the society and founded in order to meet various needs of society. Each institution is founded on a specific purpose and mission and performs a social function within the society. The function of commercial institution is to execute economical performance. Directors are the ones who shall increase the performance level of the company and, at least, to ensure their continuity without confronting any loss.
Nowadays, since directors have to detect and make a rational choice among alternative options, management function is not a mechanical procedure anymore. Director should have a proactive attitude and approach in order to tip the scales in his favour, and realize the environmental changes and choose the rational way.
On the other hand, director should push the limits, make expansions and perform protitable operations for changing the economical conditions around to tip the scales in his favour as well.
Each business corporation has a foundation purpose and mission of generating profit. Primary mission of director is to do his best in order to reach aforementioned purpose and mission. For this reason, director shall determine his targets and aims and manage the company in accordance with those targets and aims.
